Carbon Vanes

Carbon vanes are an essential component in oil-free vacuum pumps and compressors, providing superior cushioning and lubrication for optimal machine efficiency. In dry-running pumps, graphite vanes make contact with the rotor’s inner walls, minimizing wear and tear during operation. The vanes capture and compress liquid in the chamber before discharging it, with any excess air expelled after compression. As dry-running pumps don’t require post-filtration, carbon vanes offer maximum efficiency without the need for any additional filtration.
