Also known as Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), spark erosion is a metal-cutting process that uses controlled electrical discharges to erode material from a conductive workpiece. Instead of physically cutting the material, EDM spark erosion uses spark energy to remove micro-particles with high precision.
